this place was luxurious in general with an amiable and extremely friendly staff team. the food was outstanding with a huge variety of options. the location was good, next to an industrial area that was under construction, the restaurant and hyvee market, dollar tree and dozens of gas stations and restaurants, in a downtown area.

The hotel was reasonably priced, had cheap rooms. Booked a room with the furniture...

the price
Pictures on the internet were deceiving. The carpeting in the room we got was filthy! I didn't want to let my children down on it. Had to go from the building our room was in to the main on to go to the pool, not real handy.

The breakfast buffet was very nice. Much more than just a continental breakfast and actually made the room well worth the price. The staff was more than accommodating.
The room was a little musty smelling. The outdoor pool was closed.

This was a great place to take my family. The rooms were not luxurious, but they were well equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, etc. and conveniently located right off the freeway. There was a full breakfast, which was a very nice bonus! Make sure to read the times of breakfast though......I was there on a 3 day holiday weekend, and they don't extend the breakfast hours due to the holiday. My only complaint is that they didn't give us a map of the facility when we got there. We didn't realize they had an indoor pool until we saw other guests walking back to their rooms in bathing suits.

Not much. I guess the TV worked.
The bed was too uncomfortable to sleep on. I was charged for the safe in the room, which I did not want in the first place, and the safe didn't work anyway. The room smelled like hair perm solution.

Our stay at Rodeway Inn & Conference Center was very disapponting. The entire complex was outdated, dirty and undesirable to say the least. The hallways smelled badly, our room was dirty (stains on the furniture & filthy carpet.), there was noise all night long in the hallway, etc...We will not stay at a Rodeway Inn again nor would we ever recommend it to anyone!

I liked the cleanliness of the facility & the staff were very nice.
The electrical capacity was terrible. Two outlets did not work during most of my stay which left me hunting for outlets to use. I think this facility really needs an electrical upgrade.

A/C fan blowing cold air directly on the head of the bed that made sleeping very uncomfortable & difficult.

Front desk friendly. Bartender Gavin was great. Coffee maker in room did not work. Need plug by desk for computer.

Convenient location.
Poor air circulation in rooms, lack of windows was a downer. Soooo hot we had to open the door to our room to cool it off. Brought this to the attention of the front desk clerk and was disappointed in her response; evidently we weren't the first to mention it and the tone in her response was kinda rude, no apology, just said the a/c was off for the winter and she had no fans. Then trying to sleep was ridiculous because people walking up and down the hall were quite loud, I think the interior window next to the door must allow more noise to travel into the room than most places.

Breakfast buffet
Mold on ceiling in room. Told them and they wouldnt give a discount. Said they could have swotched rooms even tho they were booked up. Disappointed at how rude that was.
